Chinese New Year mall campaign design in Singapore
Chinese New Year is one of the busiest festive periods in a Singapore mall's year. Graphikate designs the key visual and every piece that comes out of it, from the hoarding at the entrance to the posts on the mall's Instagram.
What we make for Chinese New Year in malls
- The Chinese New Year key visual, with 3D-rendered scenes when the concept needs them.
- Hoarding artwork and large-format signage, prepared to the printer's specs and the installation sizes.
- In-mall posters, directory graphics and artwork for festive decor and installations. Where a piece needs fabrication, we brief and manage the production partners.
- Spend-and-redeem trackers, digital stamp cards and lucky draws, built as short-run web apps and switched off when the promotion ends.
- Digital screen content, web banners and eDMs.
- Static and animated social posts.
- For brands, Chinese New Year in-store displays and POSM, designed in 3D and prototyped before rollout.

Chinese New Year work
Allgreen Malls: one campaign, four malls
One Chinese New Year campaign for four malls with four different crowds: Great World, Tanglin Mall, Pasir Ris Mall and The Seletar Mall. We built a single key visual to flex, so each mall got its own version across dozens of formats, including eDMs, web banners and posters. Great World has worked with us since 2015.
Kinder Playhouses and Storck merci displays
Chinese New Year in-store displays for hypermarkets in Asia-Pacific: Kinder Playhouses for Ferrero and merci festive displays for Storck. Every display was designed in 3D and prototyped before production, so one set of files rolled out to every market.

Timing for Chinese New Year 2027
Chinese New Year 2027 falls on 6 February. Work back from the date the decor goes up: the key visual needs approval first, then the adaptations, then print and fabrication. A brief that lands early leaves room for proper concept rounds instead of a rush at the end.

Questions
When should a mall brief its Chinese New Year campaign?
As early as you can. Chinese New Year 2027 falls on 6 February, and many malls put festive decor up weeks before that. The key visual has to be approved before the adaptations start, and print and fabrication lead times come after that, so the brief is the step that sets the whole timeline.
What does a Chinese New Year mall campaign from Graphikate include?
The key visual, then its adaptations: hoardings, in-mall posters and signage, artwork for decor and installations, digital screens, eDMs, web banners and static or animated social posts. If the promotion runs on spend-and-redeem, we can also build the tracker as a short-run web app.
Can one Chinese New Year key visual work across several malls?
Yes. For Allgreen we designed one Chinese New Year key visual for Great World, Tanglin Mall, Pasir Ris Mall and The Seletar Mall. Each mall got its own version across dozens of formats and the campaign still read as one.
Do you design Chinese New Year in-store displays for brands?
Yes. We have designed Chinese New Year Kinder Playhouses and Storck merci festive displays for hypermarkets in Asia-Pacific. Each display is designed in 3D and prototyped before production.
Does Graphikate handle production and installation, or only design?
Both. We design and prepare production-ready artwork, manage the production partners and oversee installation, so one team is accountable from concept to what goes up on site.
